A name is a noteworthy accessory. I have an atypical name for an American, a slightly unusual name for a Californian, and a very normal name for a Persian.

Yasamine. YAAS-suh-MEEN. It’s like Jazmin with a ‘Y’ and a second ‘A’. It’s the Persian name of the Jasmine flower. It’s almost familiar but still unexpected, which also happens to be the vibe of my work.
