Hi, I’m Rain Wu. I was the kid who always wanted to take things apart, using found materials to make something new, the thrill of invention. This continued through high school, where I hosted a YouTube channel that introduced, reviewed and deconstructed electronic products and gadgets that were new to the market. 

Today, I’m a Product Designer that focuses on Consumer Electronics, inventing new technologies that connect to people’s lives. I visualize what exists, what doesn’t, dig into the history, user experience, and emerging tech, in order to identify what’s next. From ideation to invention, I turn future-leaning ideas into something real, products people can see, touch and experience. Through design, I want to create objects of the future.
