I work with the thought that empathy and emotion are the forefronts of importance in believable and earnest design! I have a deep passion for video games and animation, though I also love to draw from the past, all with the mindset to develop fantastical design languages. I believe the stories they tell are profoundly magical and powerful emotional tools. I live by a quote by one of my biggest inspirations, Hayao Miyazaki:

“Whenever someone creates something with all of their heart, then that creation is given a soul”

And so, I work hard so that every design I develope has a soul of their own! What I’ve taken to heart in my art journey is the thought that, if something I make brings a smile to even just one person’s face, it will all have been worth it.
