Hi, my name is Ella Chang. I grew up in a small town in northern China, surrounded by cornfields. The land gave me a thirst for adventure and I spent hours creating worlds beyond my imagination.
Today, as a Product Designer, I can make fantasy a reality. Ideation allows me to explore new worlds, combine research with inspiration, and find new ways to make the impossible come to life. Totally absorbed and deeply focused on discovery, I use prototyping, modeling and 3D printing to explore materials, form and craft a magical experience. I want my designs to engage a sense of play, the ability to get lost in another world. For me, toys aren’t just for kids, they allow us to get lost in our imagination, the freedom to celebrate our childlike wonder.
