Aiyi Cheng (b. 2000, Beijing) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. She is studying at ArtCenter College of Design, Pasadena, California, under the Fine Art Program (BFA). Born and raised in Beijing, China, and moved to California in 2015. She makes work as comfort in danger, exposes herself to fearable objects to create sculpture, centers flowing imagery set against solid backgrounds in painting, and delivers hardened dance floor energy in sound.
