Research-driven Prototyper for Sustainable and Inclusive Futures
Nanyi is a research-driven prototyper and artist. Her research interests encompass topics including multi-sensory interactions, environmental anthropology and living-compound as materials. Getting insights from human behaviors, nature, and emerging material technologies, she delivers tangible works for more sustainable, inclusive and bio-diverse futures.
In the past, Nanyi had interned at IDEO to deliver market insights for tangible innovation solutions, at Ford to research with users to prototype future in-cabin experiences, and at Zippo to analyze market and design insights. She has been teaching at ArtCenter College of Design on courses like Critical Worldviews, Creative Technologies and Adventure in Material Science. She had also delivered webinars for American Anthropological Association on the topic of Data Visualization.
