Naomi Nakamura

I'm Naomi, a Mexican, Japanese-American designer, and illustrator in the Los Angeles area. Born in Covina but raised in Walnut and Pasadena; I enjoy the different environments. My passion reflects emotion, meaning, and history through culture, music, dance, and surfing. I design stories through people's experiences and my own. I work traditionally, but I enjoy combining it with digital techniques. Whenever I'm not drawing, I'll head out to San Onofre to surf, go for a run, or turn the volume up to some funky music and dance like no one's watching.
