Mina's Big Reaction

A children's book concept written and illustrated by myself. The story follows a young girl who's anxious about opening gifts at her birthday and having a "great" reaction.

Process:

This story was both written and illustrated by myself digitally. I based the story on my own personal experience with childhood anxiety and based the main character on my mother as a tribute to her and all her wisdom.

Learning Outcomes:

Self directed project writing and illustrating an original concept for a children's book.
