I’m a queer, Asian-American artist based in LA, and I make a lot of work focused around my life. I’ve always been inspired by stories and content that explore people’s relationships with others, the world around them, and themselves. That being said, I mainly work within concept, ideation, and storytelling, but I love exploring all avenues of creativity. My work often features themes based around my relationship with loneliness, otherness, and struggling with mental illness. To balance those themes, I’ll often make anything that interests me in the moment; from books to puppets, fictional packaging to full on dresses. I use my art as an outlet for processing things I am feeling and a doorway to connect with others through shared experiences. My hope is someone will find my work when they need it, and for a minute they’ll know they’re not alone.
