The Blood of Love

A collection of mixed media digital collages that tell the story of a toxic romance through idioms that mention body parts.

Process:

To create this collection of digital collages, I experimented with different processes like embroidery, photography, etc. then brought those elements together through digital illustration and story. A large part of my inspiration came from my fascination with gore-based art and interesting idioms found throughout the English language.

Learning Outcomes:

Experimentation with imagery using different mediums and emphasizing different qualities like Line, Shape, Value, Type, etc.
