Self Reflection

For this collection of prints, I was learning different processes for creating metal plate prints, including etching, aquatinting, chine colle, photo engraving, etc. I chose to embrace any imperfection I came across when creating these illustrations and very specifically chose to use a picture of myself as a child, pre-transition and even in a dress to reflect ideas of growth still occurring.
