Alma en el Metro

A young girl named Alma arrives in Mexico City in the 60s to stay with her uncle, Gabriel.

Her single ambition is to experience a ride on the metro, but her plan is thwarted by an ongoing strike. This causes her to explore the city on her own with excitement and curiosity.

This project is inspired by a french new wave film, "Zazie dans le Metro" and my childhood growing up and visting my family in Mexico City.
