Weaving (in)Visibility

A creative website connects Taiwan and LA queer communities.

We use weaving as both the metaphor and method for this project, inspired by Indigenous weaving practices we observed in Taiwan. Just as a tapestry’s orderly surface conceals tangled knots at the back, identity is made of interlaced, sometimes messy, threads — emotional and political, internal and external, visible and invisible. What the world sees is never the whole story.
