TIMAL
My teammate and I designed an app that keeps time from animals' perspective. By visualizing the migration pattern, life span, and daily routine of three animals living in the same ecosystem, we explored the animalistic nature of time, which is ignored or forgot by people. For the design, I led the mobile version of the app, while my teammate led the tablet version.
Learning Outcomes:
I learned the fundamental principles of UI design and microinteractions. I gained a deeper understanding of how layout and color affect visual hierarchy of a screen. Also, I learned about how to design for different devices considering the consistency and difference between them. Instructed by Jenny. I paid careful attention to every element on a screen for the first time. I explored a lot of new things from doing this project and taking the class.
