Hi, my name is Effie Zhu. Growing up in a family of architects, art and design was an integral part of my childhood. Whether we were walking the streets of Athens or in the museums of Florence, I was always curious about what the creators were thinking and feeling.

Today, as an Interaction Designer, I design the whole experience. Blending user-centered research with tech-centered research, I consider how human behaviors, motivations and problems can be addressed with emerging technology. I explore, prototype, test and iterate, finding opportunities to solve human problems, now and in the future. Whether by increasing efficiencies, enhancing accessibility or making innovations more affordable, I design experiences that think and feel and make life easier.
