About

Art Director + Graphic Designer

I attribute much of my design practice to the nostalgic experience of my childhood. Growing up in Singapore, my mom owned a small boutique under a train station, where I observed the way she curated her clothing collection from all over the world and adapted to unusual circumstances.

In her store, I was always making things with my hands, cutting pieces of fabric and paper to manipulate images. As an introverted kid, I found community on Blogger, a place to curate my projects, which led to my discovery of creating engaging digital spaces. When I moved to the U.S. at 18, my idea of home changed drastically, but what didn't change were my creative pursuits.

Today, my practice still blends design with analog methods in digital spaces reminding me that home is not where I am, but what I make of it.
