Mia Zapz (b. 2004, Irvine, CA) is a Los Angeles-based artist whose sculptures and wearables draw from her experiences growing up in the age of the internet, social media, and a “screen-lived” pandemic. She had her first solo exhibition, Oversteer, at the 101 Gallery at ArtCenter College of Design in 2024. Zapz has also exhibited in group shows such as Purple Electropicz 3459 (2024), Manufactured Memories (2024), Prime Meridians (2023), Present (2023), and the Summer Exhibition (2023). She was nominated for Orange County Artist of the Year and featured in The Orange County Register in 2021. She will graduate ArtCenter College of Design with Distinction in Spring 2025 and receive her BFA in Fine Art with a minor in Business.
