Growing up, I spoke Korean at home, English at school, and Mandarin everywhere in between. Born in Korea and raised in China, Singapore, and Taiwan—moving through cultures that shaped my sense of belonging. Through this experience, I became fascinated with how language structures meaning.
I see graphic design as a visual language with its own syntax. Typography is the ‘voice,’ color carries emotion like inflection, and composition shapes meaning like word order. Together they create experiences—both understood and felt. I want my work to do more than communicate—I want it to connect, the way language always has for me.
