About

Bringing stories to life through visual development and playful illustration.

I'm a Visual Development Artist and Illustrator from Chengdu, China. I love traveling, diving, nature, and animals—and drawing has always been my way of connecting with the world. Through art, I explore emotion, atmosphere, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments.

I graduated from ArtCenter College of Design with a focus on background painting, visual development, and illustration. My work blends strong composition with light and color to create immersive environments that carry emotion and narrative. I approach each image with sensitivity and intention, often guided by my love for nature, whimsy, and quiet mood.

My creative journey began with a deep love for animation. As a child, I was captivated by films like The Lion King, Tom and Jerry, and the works of Hayao Miyazaki—not only for their visuals, but for how they told stories through imagery. These early inspirations shaped my path as a visual artist.

Beyond animation, I'm also passionate about publishing, especially children’s books. I enjoy the tactile experience of printed storytelling, and the balance between playfulness and sincerity that picture books can offer.

Across all mediums, I’m drawn to stories filled with feeling, wonder, and small details. I aim to create art that speaks softly but lingers—inviting viewers to step into my world and feel something true.
