The Ritual Studio: Redefining Meaningful Rituals for Sacred Unions

Forms of rituals are prone to change because of more complex pools of audience with evolving values. There is a gap between standardized, performative ceremonies and meaningful rituals. We need to understand how meaning is gained, diluted, and preserved in an adaptive and creative way.

How might we design a spatial, narrative system across multiple sessions of experiences, where couples can instantiate unique, shared values by co-creating and co-authoring meaningful rites of passage to support long-lasting unions?
