Painting

The following works were created across various courses taken in the past two years. The collection of works navigate the space between narrative landscapes and representational abstraction. Drawing from personal photographs and images found online, Burr constructs her compositions through an intuitive collage process. By translating these collages into paintings, she creates a dialogue—between intuition and the conscious mind, the personal and the communal, the empirical and the metaphysical.
