Monster Ceramics Series
This is a series of character I made on pottery that i threw on the wheel. Each character was made with the intent of all looking like they were from the same family.
Process:
I naturally made all the forms of the wheel and from the outcome of each one, I decided which faces they would have based on the form. I wanted to have them all look good together as a set rather than individually. I still gave each one an individual color to make them unique but at the end of the day they come as a set.
Learning Outcomes:
I further expanded my knowledge with ceramics and character design. I most of all learned how to transfer my practice over to a different medium.
