Beeyond The Hive

Beeyond the Hive was a conceptual proposal for Huntington Gardens, blending education and sustainability to engage community scientists of all ages. As the graphic designer, I developed posters, branding, and a book while also creating spatial graphics and photographing native bees. Collaborating with Prachiti Kamath, who designed the layout and final renders, and Audyanna Vialpando, who created illustrations, the project emphasized conservation and environmental awareness.
Learning Outcomes:
Working on Beeyond the Hive taught me to blend research, design, and storytelling in multi-disciplinary projects. I developed cohesive visual identities, collaborated across roles, and created engaging spatial graphics. Field research and photography enhanced my ability to produce authentic, purpose-driven content. This project strengthened my skills in teamwork, adaptability, and designing for education and conservation.
