My experience with my cat’s sensitive stomach inspired me to create this brand. Preparing her food every week was time-consuming, and I noticed that most U.S. pet food brands focus primarily on dogs. This led me to create a brand dedicated to cat food.

Myeow can be split into ‘my’ and ‘eow,’ which is like ‘my’ in cat language. The upward lines and loops in the logo are designed to evoke the feeling of a cat leaping.

I also chose a typeface that reinforces this effect, capturing the playful and energetic nature of cats.

The brand is narrated from a cat’s perspective, highlighting its focus on feline well-being rather than catering to humans.

I designed four different flavors to cater to the diverse tastes of picky cats. I crafted, stylized, and photographed each meal to ensure a visually appealing presentation.

In packaging design, I create a set of flat illustration to bring a friendly and approachable feel. Each illustration represents a different flavor and the specific ingredients used in recipes. This transparent approach helps build trust with customers, allowing them to easily understand what goes into each product.

The brand also offers an appliaction, enabling customers to connect with pet nutritionists and monitor their cat’s health in real time for precise nutrition management.

I also designed a space for LA Pet Fair, allowing customers to engage with the brand in person. Two vending machines display the brand’s products, enabling customers to see and experience the products firsthand. They can also make direct purchases on-site for a more seamless and interactive experience.
