Val Hobbs is a queer, interdisciplinary fiber artist artist working and living in Southern California. Their have carried the skills of sewing and textile work with them from childhood to adulthood into a practice that is deeply personal and uplifts the self while also paying homage to the knowledge that was passed down to the artist generationally.
