Hi! I’m Sophia Midori Almaraz, a Japanese and Mexican American story artist from LA. I was a Custom Animation intern for DreamWorks this past fall, investing myself in marketing toolkits, bid spreadsheets, production management and a story mentorship with Taylor Meacham. During my time at ArtCenter, I've directed, produced, storyboarded, edited, composited, animated, modeled and designed sound for nine productions ranging in length (48-hour challenges to year-long productions) and medium (2D, CG, 2D-CG, stop motion and live action!) I'm currently directing an ecological film titled LOVE AMOC, which will be released this summer!
