About
Lizeth Gonzalez is a Mexican-American sculptor born in Whittier, California.
Gonzalez is based in West Covina, California and focuses on autobiographical assemblages that explore her experiences as the eldest daughter of Mexican parents and first generation American. She will receive her BFA at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, California in the Spring of 2025. During her time at ACCD she exhibited work in various group shows such as Summer Studio Exhibition - 2023, Summer Exhibition - 2024, and Sierra Summer: Making in the Mountains - 2024. In 2024, She held her first solo show titled “When the Lies Sound Truthful” in the Spotlight Gallery located at 870 South Raymond Ave in Pasadena, California.
