About
Hello! I'm Mikey and I'm a creative interdisciplinary leader that loves playing in complex domains. I currently empower fellow scientists and engineers at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, CalTech by co-designing new ways to sense our universe and communicate our discoveries. Lately, I've been fixated on how teams can break from legacy, risk-averse processes and use design methods to reveal bolder ways to explore space. My career also led me into geospatial information systems, where cartographic design sharpened my data-storytelling skills to answer humanity's age old question, "Where?".
When I’m not staring at the stars or studying maps, I enjoy attending hyperpop concerts, developing countless rolls of Portra 400, and dialing in my pressure-profiled single-origin espresso, possibly for another ambitious run to the national barista championships.
Design will always signal an opportunity to navigate complexity, together.
Let's connect, solve hard problems and have fun throughout. The cortados are on me ✨
